How would you like to come home to a clean, fresh, and organized apartment? Residential and Student Service Programs (RSSP) offers a low-cost, optional cleaning service in some of our apartment buildings that you and your roommates may be interested in paying for during the academic year. The basic services cost $45 an hour and include cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and trash and recycling removal on a schedule determined by you and your roommates. Most apartments can be cleaned in about an hour, and you can decide how frequently you would like to have your apartment cleaned.

The details are as follows:

Cleaning services are provided at a rate of $45 per hour. If you share your apartment with others, the costs can be split between your roommates and added to each resident’s Cal Central account.

Custodial services include cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and trash and recycling removal on a schedule determined by each resident.

Cleaning services do not include cleaning personal items or washing dishes.

Once you agree on the number of service cleanings per month, you will be sent via email the service dates for each month.

Should there be a reason staff are not able to service your apartment on the specified cleaning date, you will be notified of a schedule change.
The cleaning service is open throughout the academic year or as long as we have an agreement with cleaning dates.
